Delete Meta data
How to ask Tembo Trade to delete data received from Meta, and how to check a confirmation code.
Deletion instructions
Tembo Trade receives messages, contact names, and Page and Instagram ids only for a business that connects WhatsApp, a Facebook Page, or Instagram. Those are shown only in that business's CRM inbox.
Disconnect inside Tembo Trade
Open Settings, then Integrations, and disconnect WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram. Disconnecting deletes the access token immediately.
Ask Meta to send a deletion request
- In Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites.
- Select Tembotrade and choose Remove.
- Facebook sends Tembo Trade a signed deletion request for your Facebook user.
- We delete the Meta connections and access tokens authorized by that Facebook user.
- Facebook shows a confirmation code. Open this page with ?code= and that code to see the status.
